POETRY, PROSE & TALES

Writing has always been a way of calming my mind. Ironically, this often happens through stories that are anything but. It may seem like a strange way to cope with bipolar disorder, but I’ve found it to be very helpful. Expressing myself through intermittent use of dark subject matter can sometimes have a comforting effect. It has become another form of therapy, if you will. Mental illness can disguise itself in many faces, but so can some cures.
