Some quotes?

If you’ve spent any time on my website, you know I have a love for great quotes. I don’t necessarily like the motivational stuff (well, maybe a few), but the quotes that are truly unique and make you think. The ones that somehow manage to compress an entire paragraph into a sentence or two. Occasionally, the best ones manage to fit an entire book into just a few words.

The quotes are another form of art and/or expression. They can let you know what was happening at any particular time in a person’s life. Almost like sneaking a peak at a daily journal and only reading the thought-provoking parts. Were they supposed to be that thought-provoking? Maybe not, but the way that you relate with them is what makes them so appealing. If you don’t find a particular quote intriguing, it probably means you just don't have anything in common with it. Or maybe it’s just a really bad quote. :)

Given my love for quotes, or at least those that engross me, I’m thinking of adding a ‘Quotes’ section to the website. Most will probably be from artists or have some relation to art, but not all. A lot of times I get caught up in painting or my other art related projects and don’t necessarily have the time to blog, or have things to blog about, but I’m constantly running across incredible quotes that I’d like to share. If you’re here because you like art, then you’ll probably like the quotes.

Stay tuned. You may see a ‘Quotes’ menu available soon. For now, I’ll leave you with a few.
